Peking opera artist"linh nhân" hay "con hát" for novel "Farewell my concubine" -[link] "We're just performers wearing our acts. When the burgundy velvet curtain opened, the show of life started... Every performers had a cry mask and a laugh one...But, The true artists would only showed their smile ,teardrops, they kept it themselves..."
This is a very beautiful piece with wonderful brush work! And to think you only did it in a night! Wow! I love the details on the headdress and the tassels handing. Looking closely you can see one of the individual strands! My only critique on the piece would be to maybe bring some of the intricate details to the bottom right corner of the piece as well? The left side of the piece is so intricate against the right side (although the brushwork on that side is too very nice-- and I like the effect with the red ink), I just think something more needs to be added to that side. Maybe something like the blue piece of jewelery on the left hand bottom? Still, extremely beautiful piece!
